From Río Negro, Satipo, La Campiña grew from a small operation processing fresh ginger and turmeric into an integrated company connecting Peruvian origin with global markets.

Origin
La Campiña Perú was born in Río Negro, Satipo, in the heart of Peru’s central rainforest, with a vision rooted in organic production, social commitment, and environmental responsibility.
Early vision
From the beginning, the company invested in organic agriculture, infrastructure, and people. Building certified organic operations was not easy, but it became the foundation for everything that followed.
Villa Capiri
As the project grew, Wilder joined Grober and Rolando, strengthening the founding team. Together, they acquired land in Villa Capiri, where construction of the first processing plant began.
2014
By early 2014, La Campiña was already building its facilities and taking its first steps into the market, processing fresh ginger and turmeric for export while also providing processing services to other companies.
People
From day one, La Campiña worked closely with local communities. Most of the team comes from Villa Capiri and nearby areas, and many early collaborators remain part of the company today.
Capabilities
The early years brought commercial, financial, and operational challenges. Those experiences strengthened the company’s resilience and led to a more professional structure, with stronger logistics, administration, finance, and innovation teams.
2020–Today
La Campiña evolved from fresh products into dehydrated goods and, in 2020, introduced ginger juice as a regional export milestone. In 2022, the company diversified into dry grains and later expanded with a second facility in Pangoa.
